Chapter Activities

2019 Pittsburgh Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping or running into icy cold waters.  Last year, Pittsburgh Polar Plunge participants took a quick dip in the icy cold pool to raise nearly $460,000 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

In 2018, Team ASIS Pittsburgh had 3 participants.  We hope to have a better turn out this year.

Check back for updates on Team ASIS Pittsburgh 2019 Polar Plunge.
