2018 Pittsburgh Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping or running into icy cold waters. This year, Pittsburgh plunge participants took a quick dip in the icy cold pool to raise nearly $460,000 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

On February 24, 2018, Team ASIS Pittsburgh participated in the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge hosted by Pittsburgh Bureau of Police at Heinz Field. Our team raised $475 for Special Olympics Pennsylvania Athletes.

Thank you to the participants and donors. ASIS Pittsburgh will make this an annual event.
